Tec + Recreational SCUBA vacation
Gotham Divers is returning to Spice Island, Grenada, West Indies, and we want YOU to come with us! We spent a week there earlier this year, and we loved it so much we are going back for more!
We are offering an all-inclusive package which includes airfare, accommodation, airport transfer, all meals and drinks, 5 days of 2-tank morning dives and 1 night dive, for a total of 11 dives. Nitrox 30% fills and marine park fees are included.
Here are the details:
Price: $2500 per recreational diver* / $2720 per CCR diver*
Payment in full is due September 1st.
*All prices are quad-occupancy. Pricing on single/double occupancy in private (non-villa) rooms available upon request.
Travel: Airfare is included. We will travel from JFK to Grenada, on JetBlue. The flight is less than 5 hours, non-stop, and the resort is 5 minutes from the airport.
Accommodations: We have blocked out all five villas at True Blue Bay Resort. The villas each have two bedrooms – one with a king-sized bed and one with two single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The villas sleep 4 people each. Housekeeping leaves chocolates on your bed – ridiculously awesome, delicious Grenadian chocolate.
Free amenities include wifi, shuttle to Grand Anse beach, 1 service at spa (the shoulder+neck massage was amazing!), yoga classes, a Caribbean cooking class, local chocolate and rum tasting, use of hobie cats, water bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks, two beautiful swimming pools…
Food and drink: All meals and beverages (yes, alcoholic ones too) are included. The food is not your standard all-inclusive buffet crapola – all meals are cooked fresh and a la carte at the resort restaurant, and it is delicious! Be sure to try what we consider to be possibly the greatest island drink concoted – the Nutmeg Colada!
Diving: We’ve got amazing diving for all skills levels. This trip, we are reserving TWO dive boats, one which will take recreational divers, and one which will take tec divers. Dive sites include beautiful coral reefs, the internationally renowned underwater sculpture museum, and a variety of shipwrecks, both on the Caribbean Sea side of the island as well as the Atlantic side which hosts a plethora of pelagic sea life. See this video from our trip this March, where we swam with nurse and reef sharks, giant sea turtles, eagle rays and an insane array of colorful fishes. Diving package includes 2 single tanks per day, free Nitrox fills, and Marine Park fees.
For our tec divers, the only destination you need to know about is the Bianca C – the Titanic of the Caribbean. ‘Nuff said.
Aquanauts Grenada, the dive shop at True Blue Bay, is CCR-friendly and equipped. For an additional $220, the shop offers a CCR package that includes daily O2 and air/nitrox diluent fills, and one air/nitrox 40cf bailout tank. Sorb is available for separate purchase (we can split a keg(s)!). Additional bailout tanks/fills, and Trimix fills are also available for additional cost.
